Club Integra Spring Meet 2008

I am happy to announce that after awesome planning from the Club Integra Event Planning Team - the Club Integra Spring Meet 2008 is confirmed and is ready for sign up. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Planning Team in making this happen as we all reside in different geographical regions but manage to communicate very effectively to make this meet happen. The Team consist of the following: 1) JDM Paul - Paul 2) STI_Fury - Nate 3) DC2_John - John 4) Moo Man - Justin 5) shunya - Chris Click Here to View Gallery for this Meet Original Meet Itinerary: Date: Sunday April 6th 2008 1:00pm - Pre-Meet at Langara College 1:30pm - Cruise Down to Spanish Banks 2:00pm - Spanish Banks 4:00pm - Eats: Cactus Club #3 Road What Really Went Down: 1:00pm - Pre-Meet at Langara College: Someone was late to pick me up from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal who's name (*ehem eclypz) shall remain anonymous and i was running a bit behind schedule. Luckly i had my trusty planning team all over the situation to make sure someone was at Langara College on time - haha not! To make matters worse one fellow member of the planning team could not make the trip over and luckily his car went down when it did instead of getting stuck on the kokahala hwy (Glad you and your car were okay though Paul) I remember David Tam calling me as i was heading out to Langara with a somewhat freaked out tone "Where the HELL are you?" I told him i was about 5 minutes away (more like 30 mins) and asked if he could hold the fort till i was there as non of the planning team members have arrived but there was already around 20 cars on site. David gladly accepted the challenge! Minutes rolled by when i get a phone call from trusty Nathan (STI_Fury) that its pissing rain and that everyone is gonna head over to Oakridge now - he asked me where i was and i told him "don't worry i'm on my way" 1:45pm - Cruise over to Oakridge Center Covered Parkade: So the meet continued on at Oakridge Center; Purple Section of the covered parking lot over on the North Side of the Buildings. Completely dead with no cars ... just a perfect place to have a car meet on a rainy day ... that is until Security Came along. As i pull into the parkade at oakridge with my trusty sidekick brendon as my chauffer we both look at each other thinking "oh yah shits goin down" Apparently what had happened was Old people saw our group and notified Mall Management that we were going to steal all their cars and belongings so Mall Management advised Security to get us out of there. Luckily i knew the security guard (who is actually an import car enthusiast himself and wanted us to stay) who okayed 30 minutes for us to think of a new location, advise all the members and relocate. Unfortunetely Mall Management was growing impatient and called the cops on us who are "ready to hand out Vehicle Inspections. Word got out fast about the cops coming and in less than 20 seconds all members were in their cars and off the lot. 2:30pm - Back to Langara for some chillin and pics: After dispursing from Oakridge Center we all made it back to Langara College for some Chilling, pictures and again some spontaneous planning due to the rain - but i think we actually got about 30 minute session of "Meet Time" at this 2nd attempt at Langara (haha). Once the rain really started to come down we needed something else to do b/c our restaurant reservations wasn't till 4:30pm which was another hour away ... so we decided to go for a cruise down one of my fav spots on the outskirts of richmond which everyon seems to enjoy. 3:30pm - Cruise at my Fav Spot: 4:30pm - Cactus Club Richmond:
